ELNORA — Georgia Virginia Heshelman, 94, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday at Bell Trace Health Center. Born July 20, 1917, in Martin County, she was the daughter of William Edward and Ella (Williams) Swayze. A homemaker, she was a member of Elnora Christian Church, Southern Indiana Doll Club, White River Valley Antique Association, Davies County Fair Women’s Dept. and Daviess County Fair Baby Show for 40 years. Georgia loved collecting dolls, being outdoors, gardening and her flowers. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Janet Heshelman of Bloomfield; a daughter, Donna Heshelman of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Doug (Darla) Heshelman and daughter Angela Perry, Marcy (Carl) Cook, Marta Young, Tonya (Todd) Bess, and Jennifer (Ryan) Kindig; great-grandchildren, Laura, Adam, Nate and Garrett Bess, Ross, Grace, Andrew and Alex Kindig, Farrah and Arthur Young and Eleanor Cook; and a sister, Doris Long of Odon. Her husband, Palmer Heshelman; her parents; and a brother, Darrell Swayze, preceded her in death. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elnora Christian Church. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home, Odon Chapel, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heshelman Memorial Building, c/o The White River Valley Antique Association.
