Boil order lifted

WASHINGTON — The boil order for the town of Shoals has been lifted. Customers on the town of Shoals water system can resume normal usage.

Park board to meet Wednesday

The Washington Park and Recreation Board will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers, 200 Harned Ave. All interested citizens and patrons of any of the three parks, Eastside, Longfellow and South Park, are welcome to attend. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Washington SB meets Thursday

Washington Community Schools board will meet in executive session at 6 p.m. Thursday to discuss collective bargaining. The open session will be at 7 p.m. Items included on the agenda: financial report; curriculum update; appointments.
