Lawn ornaments stolen

Police Report

WASHINGTON — CITY REPORT

Wednesday

12:36 p.m. - Nicole Evans, 28, 1210 W. VanTrees St., advised her Chevrolet Cavalier had been involved in an accident in the Head Start parking lot. The other driver, Alidia G. Ramos Arana, 27, was driving a vehicle registered to Blanca Estela Gonzales De Linares of Virginia and was long-formed for driving without ever receiving a license. A field report was made for the accident.

10:58 a.m. - An employee of Chuckles, 201 N.E. Fifth St., reported the drive-off theft of $48.01 in fuel.

8:00 a.m. - A female advised someone took several lawn ornaments off her porch at 1103 N.E. Fourth St. during the night. They were a white ceramic squirrel, a turtle and a frog on a lily pad. She requested extra patrol.

Tuesday

8:32 p.m. - An unknown female reported smoke coming from 1303 E. VanTrees St. The fire department and officers responded and were on the scene until 8:54 p.m. The resident had the furnace worked on earlier in the day and it had malfunctioned again.

COUNTY REPORT

Tuesday

9:11 p.m. - A caller reported a stalled truck was blocking traffic on CR 550N, west of CR 1200E. One person was taken into custody and the truck was moved. No other information was available.

7:39 a.m. - A caller in Montgomery reported some items missing from his vehicle. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. A report was made.
